Second Step Violence Prevention Curriculum

Practicing a Problem-Solving Method |
The Second Step Violence Prevention curriculum incorporates three components to positively guide children's behavior: anger management, empathy training, and problem solving techniques. We encourage children to express feelings and emotions while making meaningful choices during their play. We support them as they learn to resolve conflicts by problem solving. Through the use of the story cards, role modeling, puppetry, and music the children learn to respect each other and the learning environment.
